Abstract

Healthcare is a great field to work in. You come across many different types of people on a daily basis. So when it comes to diversity, Healthcare plays in big role in it. You would think that there aren’t many things to talk about when it comes to diversity in healthcare, but there is. Gender diversity; like women working in higher leadership roles, men nurses, and improvements in gender diversities, the diversity of ethnicities of the different physicians and providers in healthcare, the diverse groups of patients being treated; how and religion diversity. Like the certain practices that patients can’t get treated with because of their religion and also certain practices that different religions practice. Women have always wanted to be treated equal when it comes to working in jobs that competitive when it comes to men in and women, but men always seemed to have gotten the upper hand when it came to those jobs. Now women are finally getting those leadership roles.
