Abstract
This paper explores numerous published articles that describe the difference in Generation X and the Millennial generation (also referred to as Generation Y in this paper) in the work force. While there are many stereotypical descriptions of millenials, this paper examines research studies done across the board that include, but are not limited to, turnover rates, reasons for turnover rates, characteristics of both Generation X and Y, highlighting the main differences between the 2.
