This presentation will examine the correlating theme of imperialism between the German Empire and the Nazi era as a response to the Sonderweg theory. Spanning a roughly seventy year gap, this project will discuss the major events and figures that led to such events as the Berlin Conference, the Herero Genocide, and the rise of National Socialism.
