Abstract/Description
An evidence-based practice study was conducted to determine the effects of immediate skin-to-skin contact during cesarean surgery in term babies with their mothers. Data was analyzed from 3 different research articles that outlined the benefits that mother and baby dyads have from this implementation in the operating room.
