Abstract/Description
Undergraduate students taking a research class often begin with some apprehension especially if writing or math is not one's forte. For some the thought of a lot of library work is not a welcome one. This presentation shares the learning of three social work students in a research class through community-based, experiential, service-oriented projects. This hands-on learning experience is showcased through the work done by these students with three different non-profit organizations. The research problems investigated, the methods used and the findings also form part of this group presentation.
