Abstract/Description
The purpose of this research is to identify the benefits of using respite services and to recognize limitations that prevent caregivers from utilizing respite care services and ways overcome those limitations. This study provides a literature review of current scholarly research articles that discuss these topics. The problem is the under use of respite care services. This project also seeks to answer the questions of: Is respite care readily available? Are caregivers satisfied with the respite care provided? This study will provide suggested improvements that will increase the utilization of respite services.
