Abstract/Description
My project centers around Joseph Kabila, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo since 2001. As of 2016, Kabila has fulfilled the two terms in office that he is allowed by the Congolese constitution, yet he has to this day delayed in leaving office. My goal is to analyze worldwide media coverage of this electoral crisis from the beginning, and see how perception of the ongoing event has evolved over the past few years.
