Abstract
In Calloway County, Kentucky there is a high percentage of people who are considered the “working poor” and are below the poverty level. Calloway provides several different resources for all generations that help with the poverty rate and often go unheard of. One of these resources is linked to Feeding America which is a large network of food banks across the United States. This paper will help raise awareness in the community and will also include a description of a panel discussion that was held on this topic.
