The present study examines COVID-19's negative impact on the lives of children and families. In the process disrupting the social determinants of health. In 2019, the virus swept the nation. A review of the available research literature collected by the CDC, Bureau of Labor Statistics, the World Health Organization, Child Abuse and Neglect (C.A.N), and many more explains said impact. The findings indicate the impact COVID-19 has on children and families. Given the relationship between the social determinants of health. The conclusion points to the importance of mental health agencies as well as prevention/solution efforts to offset the negative impact of COVID-19.
