Abstract/Description

Television has become one of the most important sources of information as we get our news from a multitude of news channels. We trust the news channels, as well as their anchors to deliver us the information in a truthful, unbiased manner. In the beginning of television, Walter Cronkite was the CBS anchor that did precisely that. With an impressive career in the field of journalism, Walter Cronkite became a staple and a model for young professionals. His career covered both radio as well as television, setting the standards on TV news, building his career on the principle that a journalist’s only duty is to get the facts and get the facts right.
