Abstract/Description
This paper explores many different articles about ways to prevent falls on medical/surgical floors. The designated facility has had an increase in patient falls on medical surgical floors which has become an issue. The articles vary in suggestions, but all are very valid, evidence-based tools that can help prevent falls and educate on ways to become the most up to date on this subject. Some recommendations for the designated facility include multidisciplinary teamwork, fall prevention simulations, as well as an updated policy. This paper examines the best and most current fall prevention strategies.
