Abstract/Description
The purpose of this study is to explore and compare the budget changes over time in Illinois and Indiana from 2008 to 2023, as well as the detailed financial budgets for the fiscal year 2023 in Illinois and Indiana. The aim is to determine if significant differences exist between the data and thereby infer the similarities and differences in the fiscal policies of the two states. Furthermore, this research will compare the budget with the overall fiscal condition of the United States to draw more general conclusions.
