Abstract/Description
The presentation was intended to persuade nursing staff and hospital directors to implement animal assisted therapy into nursing care for the overall increase in patient satisfaction scores. The research was based on 3 recent studies which included RCTs, meta analysis, and patient satisfaction scores. The study was done to mandate a new policy for incorporating animal assisted therapy into hospital settings to see the benefits of AAT in local hospitals.
