In this Inside Research, Laura Guebert interviews Shannon Wood. Wood is a Senior from St. Louis, Missouri, enrolled in the Honors College of Murray State University. She is currently working toward completing her Honors thesis on the inertial parameters of rotational falls in cross-country equestrian jumping, a subset of a larger project on designing safer cross-country jumps, which she expects to continue to research with her mentors in the coming months. Wood is scheduled to graduate from Murray State University with a B.S. in Engineering Physics in May 2017.
