Editor's Notes
As an undergraduate project, Emily Hoard investigates the topic of Graph Theory with the goal of determining the solution of a game titled "Southwesterly Snakes" by transforming one partition to another within the program. Hoard received a travel grant from the Office of Research and Creative Activity to attend the 2019 Joint Mathematics Meeting, a conference funded by the Mathematical Association of America and the American Mathematical Society. This interview was conducted by Editor-in-Chief Kaitlyn Clary to look into Hoard's research experience.
