Abstract/Description

Current practices in healthcare are often reassessed to evaluate affordability, effectiveness, and most importantly, patient outcomes. Research has been conducted to assess cleanliness of reusable blood pressure cuffs and the affordability of disposable blood pressure cuffs. Hospitals must consider patient outcomes as the highest priority in choosing patient equipment. This project aims to compare both reusable and disposable cuffs and determine the safest option for patients, while providing ways to increase sanitation compliance in nursing staff.
