Abstract
My paper is over how the SEC (South Eastern Conference) helped change the South ways of thinking in the Civil rights Era. I will interview Condredge Holloway (First African American Quarterback in the SEC) and Perry Wallace(First African American Basketball Player in the SEC). I will ask them how it was during this time and how sports have evolved into what it is today. I am also interviewing Djery Baptise(African American Basketball Player in present day SEC) and asking him how these Civil Rights Pioneers paved the way for them.
