Football Player Safety
Abstract
This paper explores injuries that occur in football and how they can be prevented through proper coaching, rule changes, and improved equipment. CTE chronic traumatic encephalopathy (C.T.E.) a disease found in the brain of people who have had trauma to their brain which causes memory loss, confusion, dementia, and may be linked to a range of other disorders. Everything from head injuries to feet injuries are discussed on this paper as to know how to make the game of football safer it is important to know the injuries that makes them dangerous. Once you know the injuries causes and symptoms it makes it easier to develop the appropriate equipment and put into place the correct rules to reduce athletes’ risk. This paper was written after extensive research of the game of football in order to understand rules in the past, new rules, and to see where new rules can be put into place.
