Abstract
Testing anxiety has a huge impact on American students. Many students spend their whole lives battling it and most of the time it goes undetected in schools. This paper is to help students, parents, teachers, and peers look for the warning signs in elementary, secondary, and college students. Once the warning signs are recognized, this paper will explore different research that will help students cope with the anxiety or even try to beat it. There are many ways to help a student cope with test anxiety. This paper also presents ways that teachers and parents can help a child who is struggling with this disability. Children should not have to struggle with testing anxiety any longer.
