DIFFERENT STRATEGIES TO HELP DIVERSE LEARNERS SUCCEED IN THE CLASSROOM

Abstract

Abstract

What students are taught in the classroom is what will help prepare them for entering the real world. The demand for teachers is drastically growing. The difference in teaching strategies and how students learn in the classroom is a big topic in our society today. The differences may determine how some students learn at a faster pace than others. Some students are visual learners, and others are auditory learners. These sources show how strategies are used for SPED students, English Language Learners (ELL) and students who are in mainstream classes. The strategies used are to make learning fun for the students as well as help students with everyday life situations. To figure out which strategy is better; data and tests will be performed on how well students are learning the concept. The goal is to teach each child. All teachers must work hard at teaching all students, so they will be successful. All learners’ needs are met with accommodations that are best for everyone. As a teacher, one must know students’ struggles with content and skills. Teachers should set the tone for the classroom.
