The Study of Communication In Sports

Abstract

This paper discusses multiple sources that break down how different mediums of communications affected the growth and change of sports media. It uses multiple studies to help convey the “how” and the “why” of this. Sports media has changed dramatically from its inception, from a few newspaper articles in local papers, to multi-billion-dollar media conglomerates. As the sports media changes, so do the ramifications it has on our world today, due to the large part sports play in our culture. All of these different mediums play such a large role in our world today and will be discussed thoroughly in this paper.
