THE INFLUENCE OF THE TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP THEORY ON OTHER LEADERSHIP THEORIES THROUGHOUT HISTORY
Abstract
Throughout history, leadership theories have been used as a guide for leaders to connect with their inner self to bring their characteristics of leadership to the surface to best suit their organization and team. While there are a wide variety of leadership theories out there, the most used are transformational, transactional, authentic, situational, and contingencytheories. What theory a leader identifies with most often determines how they lead their team and what course of action is taken.
