EXERCISE THROUGH LIFE
Abstract
This project discusses the evolution of exercise as people age. The primary sources for this project are found from various medical journals focused on kinesiology and physical training. The sources that include experiments have all been reviewed and published. The project will discuss various age groups from prepubescent children to elderly adults. Each section will discuss the four primary forms of exercise. Those being concurrent, resistance, volumetric, and cardiovascular training. The goal of this project is to describe the benefits of each form of training and to come to a basic conclusion of which form of training is the most beneficial for long term health and wellbeing.
