Creating Inclusion in The Classroom Addressing Diversity in Education
Abstract
Creating an inclusive classroom while focusing on the diversity issues in education is backed by research. This paper will examine the importance of inclusion and diversity in early childhood and elementary schools, specifically pre-k through fifth grade. It will examine the barriers of inclusion and diverse issues in education in the United States focusing primarily on the middle region states.
The paper will further analyze implementation of strategies teachers and school personnel can use in their classroom and the support with diverse needs. The paper will align on creating inclusion in the classroom with supportive resources and data to tie into addressing diversity in the classroom to further improve education in the future. The paper will have an emphasize on the ongoing process and collaboration needed from teachers to the community.
