Abstract
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to create a practical resource guide for teachers with students with hearing loss. This paper is divided into five main categories: the signs and causes of hearing loss; the importance of understanding the degree of hearing loss before planning interventions; the interventions identified by the IEP team; available assistive technology; and tips for teachers and parents for working with children with hearing loss.
