Abstract
Throughout this paper, we will be discussing genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Facts will be presented regarding GMOs, how they originated and how they are created. The benefits that GMOs provide, how they affect food supply demands across the world, potential nutritional benefits, and improvements in crop production. Also presented will be potential negatives of GMO use and facts surrounding that. We will discuss what species are genetically modified, as well as applications of GMO crops in food, regulations surrounding GMOs and the controversy they create.
