INSPIRE Conference
Quality education of international students has been an ongoing topic of conversation at our institution. We need successful ideas, suggestions, trainings and/or experiences in teaching international students in higher education settings. Highly variable language skills and cultural differences related to study habits, teamwork, problem-solving, expression, etc., make classroom management difficult and can decrease the quality of education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. For graduate students, the different modes of undergraduate education can influence how the students perform in a typical U.S. system.
The conference was organized by Murray State University’s Faculty Development Center, taking place at the Murray State Paducah Regional Campus in Paducah, Ky., on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016.
