Stress Management for the CTE Teacher
Project Abstract
All teachers experience stress, which is a contributing factor to teacher burnout and ineffective practices in the classroom (Herman and Reinke, 2015, p. 4). In this workshop, career and technical education teachers have the opportunity to learn current research-based strategies to help them manage time and stress. After an educational, research-based presentation on the importance of stress management and techniques for managing stress, attendees will make their own stress balls that they can use in stressful situations. This fun and interactive workshop will leave a lasting impact on Kentucky teachers and improve their stress management skills.
