Student Teachers’ Similar and Different Patterns of Using Strategies and the Influential Factors When Reading Electronic Texts in Classroom Contexts
Project Abstract
Electronic texts are important instructional resources in technology-assisted educational contexts. This presentation reports both quantitative and qualitative findings of a mixed-method study. The findings include 167 Chinese English preservice teachers’ reading strategies when reading culturally diverse electronic texts. The presenters discuss educational potential of electronic texts and future directions.
