TBRI for Preservice Agricultural Education Teachers
Project Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the usefulness and effectiveness of Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) training in Pre-service Agriculture Teachers. This research is necessary because TBRI can be used as a tool to manage and diminish behavioral conflict in an agriculture classroom. The expected outcome of the research is that the subjects will have little-to-no knowledge of TBRI and how it can aid them in a classroom setting. As a result of watching a series of training videos, the subjects will have a new tool in their tool belt. The outcomes of this study aid in determining the degree of baseline knowledge that pre-service agriculture teachers have about TBRI and the level of effectiveness that it can have for student/teacher interactions in an agricultural classroom.
