Abstract/Description

Research in thesis will focus on Parvovirus in Canines including, but not limited to, disease mechanisms, clinical signs and diagnosis, and alternate and experimental treatment options and their respective prognoses. Research will be conducted via a survey sent to regional Veterinary Clinics regarding their treatment plans, and statistics regarding recovery times and prognoses, and the correlation between these. The treatment options I will be focusing on are: hospitalization, out-patient care, and other alternative treatments. I will be getting this information from published medical journals. This information could be used to help determine best possible outcomes for patients presenting with Parvovirus.
