Abstract/Description
Last year in Western Kentucky there were forty-seven fatalities due to home fires. Our service project identified customers at Angels Attic Thrift Shop in the city of Murray and families who utilize the Family Resource Youth Service Center at Murray Middle School as target groups for the project. We partnered with The American Red Cross for The Sound the Alarm project to test, install, and promote fire safety in Calloway County. Our goal is to install sixty smoke detectors in homes thus making our community a safer place.
