Abstract/Description
After 192 years, the first woman was named the first US Supreme Court Justice. Currently, three women sit on the High Court. My research assesses whether a female Justice has a different voice than its male counterpart. The research will focus on the State Supreme Court across all fifty states. Controlling for ideology, gender, and other factors, this paper will assess whether a Justice's gender affects their case outcomes.
