Abstract/Description
Interprofessional collaboration is the main practice that keeps hospital organizations running smoothly, with a reduction in costly and deadly errors, clinical readmittance, risk for hospital acquired infections, length of stay, and patient dissatisfaction. It also helps streamline patient care to prevent possible delays and increases job satisfaction. Interprofessional rounding on patients daily is a crucial part of the care plan due to the fact that recent information and new information is shared through communication. Overcoming the barriers that make communication between nurses and physicians difficult requires consistently working on communication practices.
