Abstract/Description
Abstract
The natural world is all about competing for survival. This survival can be quantified by the Lokta-Voltera interspecific competition equation. This equation has been used for modeling competition between species since 1985. Originally it was used mostly for comparing only two species specifically against each other. It has since then evolved to the degree where it can be used for many species to be compared at the same time. Some researchers have even taken it so far as to adjust the equation, such as Lian Baosheng, so it fits their study. The versatility of this equation allows it to be applied to many completely different scenarios of competiton.
