Abstract/Description
Each teacher candidate is required to present an eligibility portfolio and supporting materials to faculty during the student teaching semester. A LiveText electronic version of the portfolio must be submitted. Developing a portfolio demonstrates attainment of the professional skills and dispositions represented in the Kentucky Teacher Standards. The focus of the Murray State University College of Education and Human Services conceptual framework and dispositions is to prepare graduates to become reflective decision-makers and to achieve the Kentucky Teacher Standards. The eligibility portfolios provide the opportunity for teacher candidates to verify that they have achieved these goals.
