Abstract/Description
With the rapid development of internationalization in today’s business world, the frequency of cross-cultural encounters is increasing as corporate identities are shaped by rapidly changing demographic patterns within the workplace. The implications of this shift within the modern corporate culture impact the firm’s sense of self, employee perceptions of identity, and organizational change. Understanding the complex natures of identity, organizational and individual, rely upon varying definitions and theories of culture within the sociological, psychological, communicative, and anthropological fields. In this work, I aim to explore the various nuances of international diversity and its role in formation and change of corporate culture.
