Abstract/Description
Cryptocurrency is a relatively new investment avenue and currency. Everyday the news media reports about its chronic changes in stability and the ever changing perceptions. To provide a measure of stability I have completed a comparison of the five largest cryptocurrencies by dollar to the five largest index funds. I have used the relationships of changes in dollar amounts overtime. Additionally, I will provide reasons for large changes that would be considered outliers in this analysis. To gauge perceptions of the future of the stock market and cryptocurrency as investment methods, I have conducted a survey of undergraduate students in various accounting courses. This survey has been created as a ranking system of one to five of various statements.
