Abstract/Description
This presentation aims to identify and apply the techniques utilized in drama therapy to table-top role-playing games. The presentation will examine the history of drama therapy and investigate its treatment techniques as well as the origin and mechanics of table-top role-playing games, using Dungeons and Dragons as a central example. Overlap between drama therapy techniques and aspects of table-top role-playing games will be highlighted and explained.
