Abstract/Description

Breast cancer is the most diagnosed type of cancer in the United States, with 1 in 8 women receiving this diagnosis. Access to high quality, evidence-based information throughout a survivor’s cancer journey is imperative to long-term treatment success and survivorship. This presentation will discuss the development of a patient-education website geared towards women with breast cancer that focuses on a whole-person perspective. Topics discussed will include but are not limited to the incorporation of Lifestyle Medicine and mental health resources into breast cancer treatment.
