Abstract/Description
Malignant hyperthermia is a medical emergency that is difficult to prevent unless the patient is aware that they have the genetic mutation, a family history of the condition, and have informed the anesthesiologist about it. Our goal for this research is to review current best practice for malignant hyperthermia to promote patient outcomes. Readiness and awareness for staff is key to promote patient outcomes.
