Abstract/Description

This research study was conducted by surveying multiple horticultural businesses in and around Murray, KY to determine the desire for and potential effectiveness of a horticultural training program at Murray State University in the future. Since a horticultural degree lasts four years at Murray State and costs a fortune to the average horticultural worker, the idea is that employees and/or managers for horticultural businesses could potentially take a Murray State training course, which would provide them with sufficient background knowledge to perform better in their profession.
