Abstract/Description

Tales of the Bygone Camp Cascade is a hybrid work of poetry and nonfiction detailing the 1937 flood and Murray’s part as a sanctuary for those displaced by the disaster. This work is inspired by letters, oral histories, and student essays. It explores themes of community, loss and grief, folklore, and the meaning of “home.”
