Abstract/Description

Home Exercise Plans are an important aspect of musculoskeletal rehabilitation. However, adherence rates among patients is commonly low, which could affect treatment outcomes. Therapists commonly use educational aids such as pictures and videos to teach patients their HEP exercises. This study seeks to investigate if there is a type of educational aid that will inspire the most self-efficacy in patients. Since self-efficacy is an important factor in adherence to an HEP, a more effective educational aid may improve adherence, and therefore, treatment outcomes.
