The Benefits of Music and Movement in the Classroom
Abstract
Movement and music have become a pivotal point to the classroom and students learning. The incorporation of music and movement has a positive effect on students learning, behavior, and overall success in the classroom. Music and movement acts as a learning mechanism for making connections and retaining information in the child’s brain. The utilization of music and movement provides students with learning disabilities, challenges, and disabilities unique ways to accomplish learning goals, communicate, and be successful in the general education classroom and provides many benefits for students.
