Foster Care in Kentucky
Abstract
This paper is to discuss the trials and tribulations of foster care in Kentucky. Children are removed from their homes for numerous reasons. Reasons like abuse, environmental issues, and neglect. Those children need somewhere to go while they cannot stay in their own houses. The foster care system has its ups and downs and tons of responsibilities from the foster parents themselves. Foster parents are faced with many trials, but so are the children who endure foster care. They can face many different encounters as well as behavioral issues while in care. The biological parents can also face complications while trying to work through their case plans to get their children back as well. Through research, it was discovered that communication was found to be the key factor to help each person involved in foster care.
