Endangered Species and Conservation Efforts
Abstract
To improve on protecting endangered species, I took a closer look at the causes of species endangerment, examined the roles of certain organizations dealing with endangered species conservation, and looked into the importance of promoting biodiversity and protecting endangered species. This research paper focuses on the need to preserve our planet’s wildlife and its environment. I wanted to know what exactly affected species to make them considered “endangered”. I also wanted to figure out exactly what has been done by professional organizations to help restore the health of wildlife and its environment. I reviewed many credible sources of literature to determine that the preservation of endangered species is essential for the preservation of ecosystem health and the preservation of biodiversity. For future research, I would like to look at what can be done by students, from primary school to college, to promote conservation.
