The Importance of Managing Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Abstract
The importance of healthy management of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder also known as ADHD, is the key to a more successful, fulfilling, and productive life for those who are diagnosed with ADHD is a chronic condition that can be summed up as attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness or obsession. The developments and advancements of this disorder have changed drastically over time in a positive way. Children, adults, males, and females can all be affected by this disorder. Unmanaged ADHD can lead to many negative side effects like struggling to finish ordinary daily tasks, unintentionally interrupting, drifting off or zoning out during important conversations, forgetting times or dates, not being able to focus, being overly emotional, and various other negative effects. While the care, symptoms, and effects can look drastically different for males versus females, children versus adults, when properly managed through various forms of treatment, the quality of life is greater for anyone diagnosed Managing ADHD is a key part of one’s health, growth, and overall well-being for those diagnosed.
