Varied Strategies to Promote Successful Classroom Management in a Specialized Setting
Abstract
Classroom management is a persistent challenge for teachers across the United States and globally. Without successful classroom management, teachers begin to feel lost and struggle to keep their classroom environment positive for their students. Classroom behavior management is the most important skill for a teacher because appropriate behavior is the biggest component of a successful classroom. This paper will go over successfully managing behavior, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Positive Reinforcement, Negative Reinforcement, and Classroom Rules and Guidelines.
