The Importance of the First Five Years of Life in a Child
Abstract
In the first five years of life children can learn many different developmental areas such as physical, cognitive, communication, and creative skills. This paper explains why early childhood is very important in the development of children and why this period is the most important when it comes to helping children learn. Research has found that during the first years a child has impacted on how a child learns and how well a child’s well-being can be impacted. Adults, educators, or even simply people who support babies, infants, or toddlers have to understand the importance of knowing how physical, cognitive, community, and creative development can help a child succeed.
